Our girls came from Marie Mahoney who was the first to import and breed the Siberian in Australia. 	Miakoschka Siberians Miakoschka Siberians was established in 2003 with the arrival of our first three cats from the USA this was the beginning of the breed in Australia. The Siberian cat originates from Russia and is reputed to be the ancestor to all of our long haired cats today. They are recorded in history as far back as the year 1000.
